A strong commercial and team leadership focus has been consistent throughout Steve’s career in aviation.  This has encompassed developing high performing, cross-functional teams, creating and implementing strategy and execution into new international markets, with a focus on APAC countries.

Appointed MD of Blackpool Airport April 2022 Steve is charged with leading the airport team and working with stakeholders to execute their ten-year business plan as a key contributor to growth of the local economy.

Prior to April 2022 he was Commercial Director (Global) and Board Member of a UK based MRO organisation, and has held senior leadership positions in General Aviation OEM, commercial and corporate aircraft asset management and aircraft remarketing sectors, as well as Market Manager / Country GM for Japanese based corporates.

Outside of work part of his time is given over to his two Border Collies who sometimes allow him to think he’s the pack leader.
