Pete started his career in construction with Schofield Lothian where he learnt project and stakeholder management on several local authority contracts, including work on the West London Tram scheme.
At Heathrow, he was part of the Terminal 5 team when it was built, fitting out over 300 spaces in the building, followed by a move to Westminster City Council, leading a team of surveyors and engineers, to work on their non-domestic infrastructure projects. The lure of Heathrow pulled him back for another ten years, starting as a project manager, progressing through the business to become Delivery Director.
After Covid, Pete worked for two-and-a-half years with Mace Consult on a Ministry of Defence programme and then onto Mace Construct on the Heathrow Asset Management and Compliance programme but he has been back with Heathrow since October 2023.
