Giulio is currently the Business Development Manager and Aviation Leader at WSP, bringing over 25 years of engineering experience. He has played a key role in the acquisition, management, and delivery of public infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on airports since 2012. As a Project Director and Head of Department, Giulio has developed technical, managerial, and commercial expertise, driving company growth and leading teams to support clients and stakeholders in understanding project needs, tailoring advisory and design solutions, and defining effective strategies for success. He specialises in multidisciplinary engineering approaches that prioritise sustainability, safe constructability, and the health and well-being of the built environment. Committed to integrating these principles into transport infrastructure projects, he actively promotes their application. In recent years, Giulio has deepened his focus on airport decarbonisation and climate adaptation, leveraging insights from his Master of Studies on Airports' Journey to Net Zero and his involvement in climate change initiatives.
