With 20 years of experience dedicated to improving connected systems, Thomas is behind the singular focus at Beam Connectivity to support our partners on their own journeys for best-in-class connectivity. Before co-founding Beam, Thomas held roles at Dyson leading their Connected Vehicle and Connected Consumer Devices development programmes, growing that platform from launch through to several hundred thousand devices. He is highly experienced in delivering multi-disciplinary development programmes combining hardware, software (embedded, cloud, mobile), mechanical and acoustic systems. Thomas was responsible for the launch of several high-volume audio consumer electronics products, taking these from concept through to production and launch. This included the development of some of the very first connected accessories for iPods and iPhones. Thomas has a B.Sc in Physics from the University of Bristol, an M.Sc and Ph.D specialising in acoustics and digital signal processing from the University of Southampton, and an MBA from Vlerick Business School
