Alistair joined Heathrow as a senior project manager in 2017, before becoming Strategic Programme Director in 2018 and Solutions Infrastructure Director in 2020.

In this role he is responsible for the strategic planning, programme design and delivery and logistics of all construction works for Heathrow’s capital investment programmes across the airport as well as assessing deliverability of future capital investment plan.

Alistair was previously with AtkinsRéalis, where he was involved in private and public sector schemes from feasibility stage through to design, construction and completion.

Ali is keen to attract new young talent to Heathrow, so in addition to being a judge for this competition, Ali is also the sponsor for Heathrow’s Shared Apprenticeship Scheme, as part of the airport’s ongoing mission to connect its neighbours through meaningful, long-term career opportunities right on their doorstep.
