Joshua is a talented RIBA Chartered Architect who understands how to shape the growth of the city through coherent planning and delivery in the face of rapid development. He has lead significant technical design packages on a number of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects including HS2 East Midlands Hub, LU Step Free Access Programme and Paddington Elizabeth line station.
He is passionate about the future of infrastructure and participates in ‘Next Generation’ events across the capital. He is also actively involved in speculative design work including a masterplan and visioning piece for Birmingham International Airport and the creation of an aerotropolis. Currently he is working on an exploration of how airport infrastructure can be better suited to an ageing demographic specifically passengers with dementia. This builds upon his past research project based on wayfinding principles for dementia rehabilitation, featured in the Architects Journal in July 2015.
