About the awards

The New Civil Engineer Airport Awards are your chance to show the industry what your team has delivered. Entering puts your work in front of a judging panel of airport clients and senior engineers, and the shortlist and winners are covered by New Civil Engineer. For 2027 there are 21 categories, covering projects, technology, sustainability, safety, social value and people, and including the new International Airport of the Year.

The entry deadline is Friday 12 February 2027.

Why enter?

Airport infrastructure is entering its busiest period in a generation. The New Civil Engineering Airports Awards recognise the teams doing that work well, in the UK and internationally.

Be judged by the people who commission the work. Our panel brings together airport clients, senior engineers and industry leaders.

Get your work seen. Shortlisted entries and winners are covered by New Civil Engineer, in print and online, and celebrated in front of the sector on 18 May.

Stand out as the pipeline grows. With Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton all moving forward, clients are looking hard at who can deliver. A shortlisting or win is independent proof.

Recognise your people. Rising Star, Project Team of the Year and Outstanding Contribution awards put individuals and teams in the spotlight.

Enter from anywhere. Most categories are open to UK and international entries, and International Airport of the Year is new for 2027.

Take part in a growing event. 2026 was the first NCE Airports Awards. Entering in 2027 puts you at the start of it.
